Not every day do you get to influence the influencers.”
That was how we felt when we enthusiastically sponsored Influencia 1.0. Hosted by the APEX Institute of Management at Chandigarh University, Influencia 1.0 brought together some of the sharpest digital minds on one campus to engage in a day of insights, achievements, and discussion.
Held on April 7, 2025, under the umbrella of ASCENDANCE 2K25 – APEX Management Carnival, the event reflected everything Blacklisted believes in—real conversations, community impact, and the power of ideas.
Influencia 1.0: Chandigarh’s First Influencer Mega Meet
Influencia 1.0 was more than a gathering—it was Chandigarh’s first Influencers’ Meet promoting in influencer marketing, hosted as a flagship event under ASCENDANCE: Apex Management Carnival 2k25 by Chandigarh University.
Held on April 7, 2025, the event honoured some of the most recognisable faces from the world of social media and entertainment, drawing a full house of creators, students, brand professionals, and digital media enthusiasts.
Influencia 1.0 reminded us that influence in the present is not about getting famous but about establishing trust, igniting conversation, and making people feel noticed, both on and off the screen. And that’s a space we were glad to take.
At Influencia 1.0, Blacklisted was the title sponsor, eager to interact with great minds and forge new relationships. Being a creative agency, we came prepared to interact, share, and be a part of the experience from beginning to end. To us, sponsoring Influencia 1.0 was a chance to invest back into the creative community we’re honoured to be a part of.
Highlights From the Event
Influencia 1.0 was full of enthusiastic meetups, discussions and awards. Here are some glimpses of the event:
One of the most insightful moments of Influencia 1.0 was the conference session between the leading influencers and Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna, Vice Chancellor, Chandigarh University. The topic of discussion was the changing face of digital media, the place of modern influencers, and how to leverage platforms for the greater good.
A lamp lighting ceremony was held, signifying the light of knowledge and the beginning of something new. With guests and faculty members present, the ceremony provided a respectful and cordial beginning to the day.
The award ceremony was held to honour the influencers who have made a real change in society. It was among the most anticipated parts of the event. The influencers of various categories were awarded, including education, fashion, fitness and health, travel, technology, and more.
Speech By Mr. Mohit Sharma
Our Strategic Head and Founder, Mohit Sharma, stepped up to the podium to deliver key takeaways on branding, clarity, and the business of digital marketing services.
During the course of the day, a number of interactive sessions enabled influencers to freely interact with the audience. Students and aspiring creators actively engaged with influencers to get the real-world digital insights.
Last but not least, a Q&A session was held between influencers and the students of CU who aspire to become influential creators in their respective fields. The one-on-one interaction gave them a chance to get to know the behind-the-scenes part of a creator’s life.
Reflections: Why This Event Mattered
Participating in Influencia 1.0 reinforced something we’ve always believed—true influence isn’t loud, it’s lasting.
The occasion was for the people who create change, build communities, and move conversations forward. And for us, it was an opportunity to be a part of that bigger influence in some small way.
We returned from the event with fresh ideas, new connections, and a sense of duty to the market we serve—brands, creators, and audiences.
